  • Equipment Lists
    The finalization of Equipment Lists for the different beneficiary institutions is now in full swing, having started in March and is targeted to be completed in June this year. Thus far, a total of nine Equipment Lists have been completed, representing an equal number of beneficiary institutions and three sectors namely, Automotive, HVACR, and Health. The equipment list finalization work is made possible with the assistance of mostly German short-term experts who have collaborated with the administrators and technical trainers of the institutions concerned. The initiative is being coordinated by the KfW/GOPA office headed by Mr. Franz Josef Olef and the TESDA-Office of Apprenticeship headed by Dir. Marta M. Hernandez.

  • Career Guidance Course
    A Career Guidance Counselors’ Course was jointly conducted by TESDA-Office of Apprenticeship and the TESDA-GTZ Project Office on 12-15 May 2003 at the Quezon National Agricultural School in Pagbilao, Quezon.
    Some 27 Career Guidance personnel from 26 of the 28 Expansion of Dual Education and Training Project (EDET) beneficiary institutions took part in the four-day seminar-workshop, which aimed to enhance the competence of the participants in career guidance work specifically in the light of promoting technical-vocational education and training (TVET) and specifically the dual training programs among young people.
    Mr. Lorenzo F. Templonuevo of the TESDA-GTZ Project facilitated and served as resource person of the course.
